Carolina Breast Care Specialists, PA was established in 2006 by Dr. Sean T Canale to fill a need for women by providing dedicated, high quality, expert, specialized breast care. To this day, we strive to provide individualized care and support to the entire patient. Through years of experience, we have developed relationships with other specialist providers who share this focus allowing creation of the best multidisciplinary team and care for every patient. Our practice also continues to stay at the forefront of breast care technology and innovation including minimally invasive biopsy techniques, state of the art risk assessment and extended panel genetic testing, Sonocine´ automated whole breast ultrasound, SAVI accelerated whole breast ultrasound, Biozorb implant placement, and Hidden Scar oncoplastic surgery techniques. Above all, our patients are our priority.
Dr. Sean T Canale grew up in New Orleans, LA. After attending Georgetown University and LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed residency training at the Ochsner Hospital and the Maine Medical Center. He began is practice of surgery at the Browne-McHardy Clinic in New Orleans prior to moving to Raleigh, NC in 2001.
Dr. Canale is strongly devoted to his two children (Joseph & Sara) and his weimaraner Dixie. He is a practitioner of traditional tae kwon do and a Carolina Hurricanes fan.
